Artist's Statement

My portfolio comprises Landscapes, Seascapes and Cityscapes, mainly from the UK, Europe and the USA.

Each artwork, based on photographic studies, takes at least 200 hours to complete and consists of thousands of coloured triangles, painstakingly hand-drawn using an iPad as a virtual canvas.

From a distance my work may appear photo-realistic, but closer viewing reveals an abstract riot of intense and vibrant colours.

My digital artwork, by definition, cannot exist as a physical 'original', in the same way that engravings, screenprints or linocuts must also be printed to view and appreciate the piece.

Every artwork, created to the highest possible standard by a Fine Art Studio, is produced as a Giclée print, using archival, best quality Hahnemühle photorag papers and up to 12 non-fade natural pigments, for maximum colour and clarity.

Each strictly Limited Edition print is titled, numbered and signed, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

I live and work in the Cotswolds and became a full time, professional artist after selection to exhibit in The Saatchi Gallery and the Chelsea College of Arts in London in 2017.

I am thrilled that my work is now included in private collections around the world, including Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and the UK.

I exhibit regularly at major Contemporary Art Fairs and Exhibitions across the UK and Europe.

I am honoured to have been voted People's Choice at the 2019 ArtFest in Holmfirth, Yorkshire.
