CAT PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS
How it works:
1. Provide a clear, evenly-lit photograph of your cat. One showing off their best features: big colourful eyes, long whiskers or pointy ears! See more below.
2. I use your photo as a reference to draw your cat in my own unique triangular style and, together, we can choose a suitable colour background.
3. You'll receive a Fine Art print of your cat's portrait and the Digital File of the artwork for you to keep. This may be used for cushions, mugs, t-shirts, greeting cards, etc.
Prices start at £200 which includes the commission, the Digital File and an unframed Fine Art print at 30cm x 30cm. Larger prints and other options are available at an extra cost.

Some information for taking suitable photos.
The quality of the photos will have a huge impact on the final result of your cat’s portrait.
As well as being in focus, it’s important that your cat is featured large within the image. Ideally your cat is looking toward the camera to show important features like the eyes, nose and whiskers. The clearer the photo is, the more details I am able to include in my drawing. As it's unlikely that I have met your cat, I need to be able to see the eyes clearly as they really show off their individual personality.
If you take a photograph of your cat indoors this should be in a bright, well-lit room. The best possible lighting may be outdoors on a bright overcast day so the lighting is more even, although strong sunlight may make your cat squint and not show their true colours.
Cats can sometimes be difficult to photograph but, as this will be a head study portrait, it can be easier if you get someone to hold the cat, making sure they don’t have their hands near the cat"s neck.
Cameras on the latest iPhones/smart phones are excellent for taking photos of your cats.
